Lemonade stands are a staple of summer in many areas. In addition to earning a little money for a favorite activity or cause, children will learn about budgeting, marketing, sales strategies, profit, profit margins, and more.
Expert tip for parents: While a parent or other adult should be there to supervise, particularly if the children are young and money’s changing hands, letting kids be creative and take the lead in some of the decision-making is important!
